Way back in mid '70s, they diversified from their traditional business to venture into plastics industry and engineering and thus started a long tradition of excellence in manufacturing. Since then Lohia Group has been dedicatedly serving the market in the field of textiles and flexible packaging for more than three decades. Today the group comprise of three companies.

Lohia Corp Limited is the flagship company of the Lohia Group and a global supplier of machinery for end-to-end solutions for plastic woven fabric industry used for packaging systems for solid bulk materials and infrastructure applications.

The company was incorporated as Lohia Starlinger Limited in 1981 as a joint venture with Starlinger & Co. GmbH of Austria for manufacturing of Circular Looms. It has changed its name to Lohia Corp Limited in March 2013, consequent to the exit of Starlinger as shareholder.

We since inception set a vision for the company to be an end-to-end supplier of the machinery & solution for the plastic woven industry. Accordingly, after fully absorbing the know-how for the Circular Looms, we expanded our portfolio in 1984 by adding tape extrusion line & winders in our production program. Continuous investments in upgrading the in-house manufacturing capabilities together with state-of-the-art research & development facility and commitment to build world-class knowledge base assisted by qualified technicians, engineers and managers led not only to up-gradation of weaving, extrusion & winding technologies but we also added products like lamination & coating, conversion and PP multifilament extrusion lines. Today, we have full range of machinery in each of the technology vertical to cover almost the complete range of end use application of the plastic woven fabric.

To produce world class thread we blend the finest raw materials available in the world. The yarn is procured from companies like SANS and DuPont.Chemicals and dyes from companies like BASF, Bayer and Clairant.

Lohia Corp Limited offers a comprehensive range of tape extrusion lines for producing high quality PP/HDPE tapes for a wide range of applications, such as – woven & knitted bags, jumbo bags - i.e. Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs), carpet backings, tarpaulins, geo textiles, agro textiles, wrapping fabrics, ropes and twines.Our high speed tape stretching lines incorporate state-of-the-art technology and are calibrated to meet the highest international standards of performance and quality output. They are manufactured using the modular construction principle which offers flexibility for tailored adaptations for current needs as well for future expansions.

Backed by over three decades of design and production experience, these machines are built for maximum efficiency and promise higher profitability through minimum raw material and energy wastage.Our tape extrusion lines come in two distinct series, LOREX & duotec. The LOREX series is based on the conventional single stage stretching system while the duotec series uses a unique double stage stretching system.

Lohia Corp Limited offers a wide range of precision and step precision winding machines designed for winding flat or fibrillated PP/HDPE tapes across a multitude of specifications in terms of tape width and denier. The warp & weft bobbins produced can be used in both circular and flat looms.Engineered for good bobbin quality at high speeds, our winders are energy efficient, easy to maintain and help in ensuring better loom efficiencies with high quality fabric.The winders are classified under three distinct series – CM/FM series, CE/FE series and autoroto series.Products / View All Products

Lohia Corp offers a comprehensive range of circular looms for weaving light to heavy weight tubular or flat PP/HDPE fabrics for a wide variety of end applications.Lohia Corp’s loom ranges from 4 shuttle for open mesh (leno weave) packaging fabric for fruits & vegetable, to 6 shuttle for a vast range of packaging applications such as cement, fertilizer, polymer granules, chemicals, grains, animal feed, seeds and husk; to 8 & 10 shuttle for the production of wide width fabric for Jumbo bags (FIBC’s), tarpaulins and geo & agro textiles. It has advantages of the latest technology – higher operating efficiencies, excellent weaving quality, lower wastage, lower energy consumption, lower maintenance etc. making our looms the best choice for customers.Our looms are available under four distinct machine models: nova, LSL, LENO and venti.
